Those wishing to undertake a personal retreat at the monastery must meet the following requirements before their visit:
-
Be at least 14 years of age at the time of the retreat.
-
Agree to abide by the Retreat Centre Rules and Guidelines for the duration of the stay.
-
Complete and submit the Retreat Request Form prior to arrival.

For first-time visitors, submit a Permission Letter from your father of confession to the monastery's registration email before your scheduled arrival.
Scheduling & Capacity
-

-
Stays may not exceed seven consecutive days.
-
Facility capacity is limited to 20 males and 16 females at any one time.
Chaperone Requirements
-
Every church group must have a minimum of two adult chaperones or servants present. One must serve as the designated Retreat Coordinator, acting as the primary contact with the Monastery throughout the registration process. An additional adult is required for every five youth under the age of 18.
-
Chaperones bear responsibility for the conduct and oversight of their group to help ensure a safe, peaceful experience for all guests of the Retreat Center.
Reverence & Cleanliness
-
The grounds and buildings of the monastery are holy spaces. We invite you to be attentive to the sacred atmosphere throughout the complex and to treat every corner with the reverence you would show in the very presence of God.
-
All guests are expected to leave the Retreat Center in the same condition — or better — than they found it. This includes all rooms, common areas, and bathroom facilities, as well as proper removal of all trash.
-
Recyclable materials — including cans, glass, plastic bottles, and paper products — must be rinsed and placed in the appropriate receptacles.
-
The monastery and its Retreat Center maintain a smoke-free, alcohol-free, and drug-free environment. Use of any of these substances on the premises is strictly forbidden.
-
Animals and pets are not permitted anywhere on monastery grounds.
Health & Safety
-
Each retreatant is personally responsible for their own health coverage. By confirming a reservation, all participants release St. George and St. Paul Monastery from any liability. Proof of insurance is required upon arrival. No exceptions.
-
Safety must be the foremost concern for all individuals and church groups staying overnight at the monastery.
Grounds for retreat termination & fines

A group's retreat may be terminated and a fine assessed for any of the following:

Vandalism, defacement, or theft of any monastery property.

Failure to abide by the Retreat Centre's rules and guidelines.

Disrupting or disturbing other guests during their retreat.
