The Monastery of St. George & St. Paul the Anchorite is a spiritual home in 243019C AB-13, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A 1W8, serving under the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Mississauga, Vancouver, and Western Canada. Established within a historic diocese founded in 2013, it stands as a place of faith, tradition, and community.

Father Angelos is a priest serving at St. George & St. Paul The Anchorite Monastery
the first Coptic Orthodox monastery in Western Canada. The monastery is officially registered in the Edmonton area and was established in January 2025, with its first Divine Liturgy celebrated in February 2025. Through his service, Father Angelos supports the spiritual life of the monastery and helps guide its growing ministry within the Coptic Orthodox community in Western Canada.
